In November 2015, Sandra Maria Zuluaga, possessing unrivaled expertise and experience in the garment and clothing industry, and a sharp eye for trending and profitable apparel ideas, cofounded Artcify Incorporated, a manufacturing company in South Florida. Aside from acting as the President of the company, she decided to assume the role of Chief Business Developer, working closely with a chief financial professional on budgets and costs, company goals and practices in addition to implementing processes to support business growth. With the help of colleagues, consultants and employees who love to create art and share their knowledge with clients who want to start a new line of custom made apparel, the company opened its doors in January 2016 and has since enjoyed considerable success creating custom apparel for contract and private label brands, and offering the services of fabric receipt, sublimation printing, press, pattern cutting, sewing, sampling and shipment.
Sandra is also a Vice President of Dolphin Wholesaler Import & Export Inc, and is a true leader and innovator of the import/export industry. In this role, Sandra oversees the operational management and strategic planning of the company while maintaining a wide range of responsibilities.
Sandra holds a BBA in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Florida International University, and is currently working toward her MBA in International Business at Florida International University. She gained invaluable experience in the industry while working as Company Manager for RPM Distributors and as Strategic Planner for Miami Tees, where she built her expertise in the development of process improvement. Here, she spearheaded the development of a plan built to accommodate production from sales projections, product management input, sales order backlog, priorities for specific products and available capacity, production schedules, and financial targets.
As a cancer survivor, Sandra is adamant on giving back to her community, specifically by providing art therapy to the children at St Jude Hospital and taking children with Down syndrome on various outings. She resides in Doral, Florida and enjoys swimming, scuba diving, spending time with her dog and reading in her spare time.
