The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Member, Michaella Conteh


 

Michaella Conteh is the President of Health Impact International. Focused on working with the community, she is dedicated to educating and helping the community live through sicknesses. She works with local organizations to get in contact with women in need to provide support and health leadership.

Ms. Conteh started Health Impact International after her husband died of diabetes. She promised him she would use her gentle spirit and her knowledge to help others. She specializes in health and wellness, and is part of a women empowerment group of Sierra Leone. She is on several panels in regard to bringing awareness to women’s health.

She received her education at Roosevelt High School for Girls, Y.W.C.A Vocational Institute, ALFAG Computer Services for a Certificate in Computer Studies, then the National Democratic Institute earning a Certificate in Campaign Management. She attended E-Formation French School for French level 1, and University Ouvriere de Geneve  for French level 2. She went on to Stonebridge Associated Colleges earning a Certificate in Advertising & Promotion and a Certificate in Business Operations. In addition, she holds a Diploma in International Trade and a Diploma in Finance from Ebsi Export Academy. Ms. Conteh continues to further her education currently at International Business Management Berlin in Ongoing Project Management and Human Resources Management.

Her expertise are business management, communication, advertising and promotion, health and fitness, desk top publishing, and conflict management. She is an affiliate of CISMAT-Sierra Leone, Gambia , Guinea and Liberia, UNICEF Parent du monde, Check Your Health Sierra Leone, Nadrah College of Skills, Caritas Geneva Switzerland, Woman to Woman Geneva Switzerland, and Daughters of Zion Prayer Ministry Geneva Switzerland.

Her work has not gone  unrecognized, and her honors and awards include: World Federation for Peace and Inter Religious Societies Ambassador for Peace Nomination (2007), The International Society of Female Professionals (2018), and National Democratic Institute 2000.

On the horizon, she would like to grow her organization throughout Geneva and getting more exposure. She credits her success to passion and empathy, and fulfilling her promise to her husband. She resides in Switzerland, and is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
