Linda Graham Parnell is a highly sought-after freelance proofreader and editor based in the United Kingdom. With over 25 years of experience in the field, she has been in her current role for the past 6 years and offers writing and editing services to clients across the nonprofits, cultural and private sectors.  She is known for her keen eye and ability to adapt to write in the client voice or from a more neutral, journalistic perspective.
 
In addition to her freelance practice, Linda is a passionate and expressive creative writer. She has published a book of poetry, and has seen several of her poems published in magazines and other media. Linda finds the creative side to her writing helps her when she works with clients across the world to come up with unique and outside-the-box solutions to meet their copy needs.
 
Linda holds a master’s degree in Creative Writing from Lancaster University. Prior to branching out on her own, she worked her way up the ranks in events management for the arts, and found she thrived in the fast-paced environment of the field. She is currently working on her second volume of original poems, and credits her success to finding true enjoyment in her chosen field.
