In 1998, Linda Blanchett started Diva Communications Inc., an Edmonton-based graphic design studio with a tight-knit group of seasoned communications professionals who have solid industry connections. Starting out as the sole employee, Diva Communications now has five employees. Linda works on New Business, projects, client issues, and is also the designer. She has donated time to local charities as well as helped students at local schools with yearbooks and posters design. With over 50 years of combined experience, Linda’s team is old enough to know better, but young enough to try anything. As Owner & Creative Director, she aims to do everything with passion and creativity. Linda considers the most rewarding aspect of her career is working and standing by her team, who have been with her for years.
Diva is a graphic design studio combining outstanding creative flair and solid strategic thinking to ensure you message takes center stage. No drama, no tantrums, no hissy fits — they focus on the big picture and sweat the tiniest details. From concept to completion, Diva’s goal is to get you noticed. Great design is a collaboration of their creative strengths and the client’s understanding to produce memorable, effective communications. Diva will get the job done, taking your project from initial concept development to final artwork, with creative ideas and flawless execution. If you have been thinking of producing print material (Annual Reports, booklets, conference materials, brochures, ads, displays), we would love to meet with you to discuss your objectives and how our services may be of help. Linda tells us that being in the business world can be challenging and so rewarding at the same time. She started the company in 1998 after working in advertising. It has been a wild ride, and she brings the values that she finds most important into her business philosophy today. Over her many years of business experience, she has acquired expertise in business development, project management, consulting, client management, and negotiation.
She enjoys facing new challenges, overcoming obstacles, and achieving her goals. In her spare time, Linda enjoys gardening, traveling, and cheering on her son’s soccer team near their home in Alberta, Canada.
The International Society of Female Professionals Member Linda Blanchett can be found on the Who’s Who Directory, where she is looking forward to networking with you.
