The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Yolanda Scott


 

Offering more than three decades of security experience Yolanda Scott is Protective Services Manager with Texas Instruments. She began her journey in retail loss prevention, and she has experience in Incident Management and has led many incidents around the world.  She works with teams local and abroad to ensure the safety of all employees during the initial incident through business recovery of the sites impacted by the disaster. In her current role she is responsible for security operations at four sites in the North Texas area with a mix of internal security personnel supplemented by about 1700 contract security hours.

Yolanda holds a BAS and MAS in Communication, minoring in leadership from Dallas Baptist University. She has held several positions with ASIS International: The North Texas Chapter Chair in 2018 & 2019; the ASIS Women in Security Council as the Global Liaison Chair; and is on the Pre-background Screening Council.

In her spare time, she loves to travel and volunteers with a local church focused on humanitarian efforts. She also spends time volunteering with the American Red Cross and Dallas CERT. Yolanda supports and volunteers time with New Friends New Life, an organization focused on helping women and girls formerly held in sex trafficking. Her volunteer efforts also extend to  United Way of Metropolitan Dallas as a grant reviewer & FBI Dallas Citizens Academy BOD to promote the efforts of the FBI.
