The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Tomikka Lee

Tomikka Lee  is a Therapist for True Living Therapy grew up experiencing  adversities and oppression in which resulted in  increased feelings of frustration, helplessness and sadness.  It wasn’t until receiving  assistance from a clinical professional and mentor to recognize that her past thoughts and behaviors were unhealthy, unproductive and did not define her life outcomes.  With this knowledge she felt more motivated to pass her new cognitive-motivation and skill set onto others who also faced emotional and mental health challenges. The joy and pride witnessed and experienced was unmatched by any other moment in her preceding years.

After earning a graduate degree and Clinical Licensure in Social Work in the State of California, she desired to further advance educational and professional development, for the better of those served.  Mrs. Lee is currently attending Grand Canyon (Christian) University pursuing a PhD in Philosophy of Psychology with emphasis on Cognition and Instruction to further address behavior theories, origins and theories of different psychological schools of thought and educational research. Mrs. Lee has worked for over twenty years as a social worker in a variety of professional and clinical settings.
