Shawndetta Miller is Chief Executive Officer of William W. Professional Staffing (WWPS), a fully integrated professional staffing solutions firm established in 2008. With over fifteen years of experience in the staffing industry, this small, woman-owned business provides a bold approach and employs forward-thinking vision to propel clients into the right matches. The firm specializes in nationwide recruiting for the following sectors Healthcare, Human Resources, Office Administration and IT. William W. Professional Staffing offers temporary staffing, direct hire, contract-to-hire, and customized staffing solutions.
Shawndetta also acts as a dedicated advocate for community development. She works with high school and college graduates to help them excel in their chosen career fields, through job training, resume reviews and interview preparation. Ensuring each of them that hard work pays off, by using her life lessons as an example.
Originally from South America, Shawndetta was raised in New York City and drew inspiration from watching her parents build a new life for their family in America. She was able to see the rewards and success of their hard work and has carried their unflinching work ethics and drive into her own. She has always been inspired to make a positive impact in the lives of others, and she continues to be passionate about working in a field that enables her to help individuals take the next step in their careers. Shawndetta has built the success and reputation of William W. Professional Staffing on fostering strong, long-term relationships with partners and clients, going the extra mile to get an in-depth understanding of their business, staffing and recruitment needs.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Management from American Inter-Continental University, Shawndetta went on to complete a Master of Business Administration in Business Management, Marketing and Related Support Services and, additional Masters of Human Resources Management from the University, AICU. She launched her career with the New York City Department of Education in the Division of Instructional and Information Technology (DOIIT), and upon completing her degrees took the leap into entrepreneurship.

Professional Staffing holds the following certifications, New York State, and New York City MWBE, Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE), Port Authority New York, New Jersey -MWBE, National Minority Supplier Development Council-MBE, Small Business Enterprise-SBE.
