The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Member of the Year Shawn Fischer

 
Shawn Fischer has over 11 years of experience in her field. As Ambulance Director of Sturgis Ambulance, is a highly trained critical care paramedic and directs the critical care department, including all staff and programs. She oversees day-to-day operations, budgeting, and implements policies and procedures to ensure all patients receive quality care.
 
Passionate about medicine and helping others, Shawn knew she wanted to work in a field where she could help patients to receive quality care. She holds an LPN degree in Nursing from Western Dakota Tech, class of 2007. Looking ahead, she plans to continue making an impact and saving lives. She credits her success to her team, and feels like they make her job easier and better.
