The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Sara Habibyar, PharmD, MPH, MBA

Sara Habibyar is a freelance analyst and international policy development professional specialized in the humanitarian, social and emergency response sectors. Having stepped into independent consulting after three years as Emergency Specialist and then Planning and Monitoring Specialist at UNICEF, she has over 7 years of cumulative experience in policy advocacy and institutional development. Having focused her career primarily on public health and emergency response, Sara is a seasoned academic with a strong background in research, policy and data analysis, quality assurance, performance evaluation, strategic planning and process improvement, and is also skilled in guiding change management.
 
After earning a Doctor of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Kabul University, Sara went on to complete a master’s degree in Business Administration from Bakher University. Committed to professional growth and development, she earned a postgraduate diploma in Public Health and Pharmacy from Southern University Bangladesh, and an additional Master of Public Health in International Public Health/International Health from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.
 
Today, Sara is based out of Ottawa, Ontario. An analytical and collaborative professional with extensive experience providing strategic support and guidance in national and international policy development, she has ten publications, to date. She speaks fluent English, Dari, Pashtu and Urdu, and credits her success to focus, drive and perseverance. Outside of her professional endeavors, Sara enjoys painting.
