The Personal Support Worker Certificate Program at CLI College is designed to teach students how to effectively and efficiently provide care and assistance to clients and families to help them live fulfilling lives in their communities and in institutions.

 

CLI College’s PSW program will prepare students to join an in-demand industry in less than a year while developing skills needed to start a career in a long-term care facility, supportive housing, home care, adult daycare, and palliative care.

 

The Food Service Worker Program at CLI College is intended to educate students and give them the necessary skills and information to work in hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Cafeterias, catering firms, and other foodservice establishments can also engage them. They frequently find work at restaurants, cafes, hotels, fast food restaurants, cafeterias, and hospitals, among other places. The information and abilities gained during the program are put to use in these areas, where they are expected to take on responsibilities that are appropriate for their position/title. The abilities learned during the curriculum are in compliance with industry regulations.

 

The Mental Health and Addiction Program is highly valuable, given that 1 in 5 Canadians will experience a mental health or addictions (MHA) challenge and may require a range of services in the hospital and the community.

Students at CLI college learn the necessary skills to provide support, understand behaviors and provide treatment. Using theory and firsthand experience, graduates have a full understanding of how mental health and addiction problems affect different populations. Jobs in this field include Addictions Therapist, Community Education Worker, Crisis counselor, Rehabilitation Worker, and any other rewarding fields.

 

 

CLI College’s Accounting & Payroll Administration program prepares individuals for accounting and payroll business applications specialist jobs. This program  provides an understanding of manual and computerized accounting payroll systems to prepare you for a career path in accounting and payroll administration. Students in this program will learn how to research, understand and incorporate trends that set are set by industry to ensure the program is constantly meeting sector standards. Our combination of classroom theory and hands-on experience gives you the skill to pursue opportunities with confidence.
