The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Marion Gibbon


 

Marion Gibbon is Assistant Director of Public Health at the Birmingham City Council. She has worked at a senior level in public health since 2010, and loves coaching and mentoring public health practitioners. She is committed to enabling professionals to become the best they can be, and recently published a book on feminine embodied leadership.

She was originally a teacher of science and worked internationally. While overseas she decided to undertake a further degree and became involved in nutrition. She completed a doctoral degree while working in Nepal, and has worked at the senior level in public health since 2010. She has had the opportunity to coach and mentor public health practitioners and is committed to enabling professionals to become the best they can be. She considers her recent book publication to be important contribution to her work as well as the field.

She credits her own success to dedication, perseverance and hard work, and is looking forward to connecting with likeminded professionals.
