Marília Lima is a young, energetic and passionate marketing professional from Brazil. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Federal University of Pernambuco and a Master’s Degree in Marketing from Fundação Getulio Vargas. She also earned her Executive Certificate in Brand Management from Otto Bensheim School of Management.
She offers over 15 years of working experience, not only in Brazil, but also in London, Chile and currently in Germany. Her current position is Global Marketing Manager at CAD/CAM for Dentsply Sirona Germany, as part of a 3 years relocation program. She has been with the organization for nearly nine years, having started in São Paulo, Brazil then relocating to Bensheim, Germany where she was instrumental as Go-to-market project lead in the global launch of a new “Milling Unit”, one of the most important and innovative products for the company, a pioneering technology that’s driving digitalization in dentistry. She is an accomplished and driven marketing professional and has worked and studied internationally.
She is currently searching for programs and opportunity to learn and network from great women in order to support her to keep strong towards her goal: a C-level position. She is not only looking for opportunities to develop her potential and enrich her journey into this process but also wants to empower other women to find their dreams and pursue them.
She credits her success thus far to courage, ambition, dedication and passion for people. Marília started her career in Brazil and her expertise spans brands and business strategy through multiple channels which include consumer market, B2B and healthcare technologies, with a comprehensive knowledge and experience in the field of brand management, customer-centric communications, trade marking, go-to-market strategy, analytics, business development and sales excellence. She is a results-driven professional and knows the market from an international and cultural standpoint. She is multilingual and speaks English, Portuguese, German, and Spanish. She is very active in women’s initiatives, has attended the program Women In Leadership through The Linkage Institute of Dallas, Texas and is the region Chairperson for the Employee Resource Group, a forum of support and growth for all Women in the company, driving initiatives to empower them to excel to their fullest potential.
