The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Lauren Records

 
Lauren Records is the Director of Operations at Koala Academy Pediatric Therapies, a family-owned and operated ABA, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy company. Koala Academy helps children experiencing Autism Spectrum Disorder or other social, communication and behavioral challenges. A highly regarded business development and parent advocate, Lauren has over five years of experience within the ABA, speech, and behavioral health and sciences industry, and is passionate about her work. Using her degree in Educational Psychology and Minor in Administration and Training from the University of North Texas she guides parents with compassion and kindness to understand the process and benefits of behavioral science therapy. As a mother of three and an advocate for her own children, she understands the complexities of little ones and approaches her job with the same tenacity and understanding.
 
With a background in medical sales and management, Lauren has experience with obstetrics and gynecology, as well as pediatric genetic disorders. Gifted with the ability to navigate delicate matters and hard conversations, she offers families the opportunity to be vulnerable, share their story and navigate their journey ahead.
 
In the past, Lauren served as Director of Business Development for a leading ABA company that she helped grow as a business and serve countless families. A leader in the community and within the clinics, she offers a targeted set of skills that best represent children’s and family’s pediatric needs. Lauren has built her reputation on fostering an environment that effectively bridges the gap between referring doctors and specialty physicians, to provide a successful transition into the clinical setting and the community, beyond.
 
Outside of running Koala Academy Pediatric Therapies, Lauren runs The Itsy Bitsy Lady, an interior design and home staging firm that was birthed from the idea that visions can come to life. She and her team also offer professional organization services and have worked on projects of all sizes across the greater Houston, Texas area.
