The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Kristin Figuerado

Binghamton, New York – Broome County is proud to announce the appointment of Kristin Figuerado as Secretary within the Law Department. With her extensive experience and commitment to excellence, Figuerado is poised to make a significant impact in her role.
Figuerado brings a wealth of experience to her position, having served in various administrative and legal support roles throughout her career. Prior to joining Broome County Government, she served as a Legal Assistant at the Law Offices of James D. Ward, where she honed her skills in providing efficient and accurate legal assistance. Figuerado’s dedication and expertise were also demonstrated during her tenure as Secretary in the District Attorney’s office at Broome County Government.
A natural-born leader, Kristin spent 8 years in management at JP Morgan Chase, where she built her reputation on encouraging and supporting her associates in their career goals. She is passionate about leading people into success, and believes she was placed on this earth to help people.
With a strong background in the legal field, Figuerado has a solid understanding of the complexities and demands of the profession. She previously worked as a Real Estate Paralegal at Aswad & Ingraham, gaining valuable experience in real estate transactions. Additionally, her time as a Mortgage Loan Closer at Homestead Funding Corp. allowed her to develop expertise in mortgage closing procedures. She also worked at Real Estate legal secretary at Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP, where she launched her career.
Figuerado’s educational background includes an Associate’s degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from SUNY Broome Community College. Her academic achievements are underscored by her inclusion on the Dean’s list for two semesters, reflecting her commitment to excellence in her studies.
As Secretary, Figuerado will play a vital role in supporting the Law Department’s operations, ensuring the smooth flow of administrative tasks, and providing essential assistance to the legal team. Her attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to professionalism will contribute to the efficient functioning of the department.
