The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Keri Melendez

With over 15 years of professional experience, Keri Melendez is a Senior Paralegal and Legal Administrator with Rafool, LLC where she is known for her attention to detail and her tenacity. Keri is a top-notch paralegal working for a firm who has serves the Miami area in vital matters such as the representation of complex family, same sex, and business litigation.   Ms. Melendez, Manages and develops the paralegal team and the systems and processes utilized to track and produce legal documents. Ms. Melendez also assigns cases to the paralegals and monitors progress to ensure timely completion, validates and oversees the preparation of legal documents, such as briefs, answers, responses, compliances, affidavits, charts, and notices, provides research and training support to the paralegals utilizing databases and legal libraries, coordinates with attorneys on special requests or highly complex projects.  She also manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs, ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Process payroll. Prepares, submits, and handles all aspect of client billing, retainers, and trust funds. Prepares subpoenas and other legal documents, including memos and correspondences. Prepares bank reconciliation records and reports directly to the firm’s accountants and CEO.
 
Ms. Melendez is a Florida Bar member and has been recognized by the International Association of Women and as a 2019 and 2020 Paralegal of the Year by the Top 100 Registry.
