Kara Rudy is Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of MarketDesign Consulting, a boutique business consulting and creative marketing agency that works exclusively with clients in the technology sector. With nearly 15 years of experience in IT marketing and leadership, Kara specializes in building brands, driving demand, and uniting teams. After years of working in technology companies, Kara’s vision for starting MarketDesign was to work with them; helping IT resellers, VARs, MSPs, SaaS companies, and tech start-ups drive consistent, year-over-year growth through operational alignment.
 
Prior to founding MarketDesign, Kara served as the Director of Digital Marketing for a global IT reseller. Her combination of industry knowledge, business strategy, and marketing excellence makes MarketDesign a force to be reckoned with in the competitive technology space. With a commitment to professional growth and development, Kara has incorporated consulting and mentorship as cornerstones of her business.
 
Kara studied Business and Marketing at St. John Fisher College, and is certified in HubSpot Marketing Software and Inbound Marketing. MarketDesign is also a HubSpot Platinum Agency Partner. Based in Syracuse, New York, Kara volunteers as a Marketing and Business Mentor for Business Mentor NY. She credits her success to passion, focus, and perseverance. In her spare time, she coaches youth sports, supports her local American Cancer Society chapter, and enjoys spending time with her husband and three small children.
