The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Jolette Joseph


 

Jolette Joseph earned her Master’s degree in Humanitarian Action from the University of Geneva, and the Graduate Institute in Geneva under the Center of Education and Research in Humanitarian Action (CERAH) in Switzerland. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication at the State University of Haiti, and is attending a professional certificate program in Digital Marketing at the University of Miami. Through these experiences, Jolette developed strong project coordination and implementation skills. She also acquired research skills, a training program for adults, and report-writing.

Today, Jolette offers over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector and peacekeeping missions with the United Nations in Haiti. Currently, she is working toward an online Master’s track certificate at the University of Michigan, as well as an online program in Digital Marketing at the University of Miami.

Some of her current interests include digital marketing, social communication, politics and policy, capacity building, environmental issues, education, gender issue, disaster risk reduction, and humanitarian action in the nonprofit sector. She enjoys focusing on topics related to feminism, women’s rights, politics, poverty, environment, human rights, disaster risk reduction, food security, and emergency relief.

She received an Honor from Oxfam Great Britain for contribution to Oxfam’s effort to increase the resilience of vulnerable communities facing risk and disasters (2009), and an Honor from SitwomAfrika for contribution to the success of the International Festival of Africana Psychology (2018).

Passionate about her work, Jolette credits her success to dedication, drive and perseverance. She looks forward to networking with likeminded professionals.
