The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Johanne Cournoyer-White


 

Johanne Cournoyer-White is an Elementary Vice-Principal with Ontario School Boards in the Greater Toronto Area as well as Hastings Prince Edward County.

An education industry professional of over 40 years, she is now located in Belleville Ontario where she still offers her service as a casual vice-principal for the Peel District School Board. Born in Montreal, Canada, Johanne is fully bilingual (French-English).

Johanne holds a bachelor’s degree in Education with a major in Math. She has earned her Principal’s Qualification and possesses specializations in French Second Language and Integration of Information and Computer Technology in Instruction. Before becoming a school administrator, she taught in three Canadian provinces as well as in Germany for the Canadian Armed Forces. Her career interests are Math, French and Robotics.

At this stage in Johanne’s career, she is seeking to network with other like-minded educational professionals to share expertise and knowledge, and to get her name out there as a face-to face or online casual vice-principal.

Johanne has also started an online tutoring service called “Bonne journée” to promote the learning of the French language.
