Jessica Eadie is Director of Quality at Woody Nelson, a growing cannabis startup based in beautiful Nelson, British Columbia. With over 12 years of experience in quality assurance, wellness and team leadership, Jessica is a key player in the creation of new products, development of new systems and best practices, and regulatory compliance engagement.
 
Having enjoyed a lifelong interest in life sciences and technology, Jessica earned a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Manitoba before going on to complete an advanced diploma in QA/QC in the Pharmaceutical Industry from Red River College Polytechnic. She holds numerous certifications in healthcare, quality management, and pharmaceuticals, and is passionate about her work.
 
Prior to entering the cannabis industry, Jessica gained experience in the food industry poultry slaughter to tray-pack (SQF, BRC, CFIA regulated, HACCP Certified), pet food manufacturing (HACCP Certified), and medical devices (ISO 13485) sectors. She enjoys being able to see the direct impact her work makes on the wellbeing of the residents and the economy of the local Nelson community, and credits her success to focus, drive and perseverance.
