The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Dr. Shay Nicholas

 
Dr. Shay Nicholas holds her MD degree from the University of Connecticut—Storrs Campus, and studied Chemistry and Mathematics for her undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College in New York City.
 
Becoming a doctor was one of the most important decisions she ever made in her life, and the stark reality and pure beauty that came with saving lives was immeasurable. She went on to spend two decades as a senior physician in Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine. Currently she is Owner of Kintsu MedSpa &Wellness. Kintsu offers numerous services such as Botox, fillers, hair restoration, PRP Facial Rejuvenation, 4D Laser Facelifts, and much more.
 
After seeing the joy that emerged from patients after receiving simple services such as Botox, she realized that not only was this something she valued, but it was also a part of her Caribbean culture where age is just a number. She witnessed improvements in self-esteem and self-care in her clients as she forged a new path to help others.
 
Dr. Shay’s calling to heal human beings has evolved over the span of her career, but one thing that has remained unchanged is her dedication and ability to be present in her work. In her spare time, she spends time with her three sons and their Goldendoodle.  She loves to travel, attend live concerts and is an avid reader, moviegoer and history buff.
