The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes DJ Nicholson


 
DJ Nicholson is the Director of Inclusiveology, a comprehensive program that supports school communities with the goal of increasing the potential of all learners, regardless of disability. By implementing inclusive strategies and supports, every child can grow into and achieve their full potential, academically and socially. DJ works closely with school communities and administrators, to improve the educational experience of each child through engagement, accommodation and accessibility.
 
After earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, DJ went on to complete a master’s degree from Western Michigan University. She holds an educational certificate in K-12 Special Education, Elementary Education, Reading Endorsement, English Speakers of Other Languages Endorsement and Music. She has over 26 years of experience in education as a classroom teacher, instructional coach and trainer and served for more than two decades in the Pinellas County FL Schools system.
 
Based out of the Tampa area of Florida, DJ is passionate about empower teachers and educational leaders to create lasting positive impact in the lives of their students. Outside of her professional endeavors, she volunteers for Pug Rescue of Florida Inc, where she fosters pugs with disabilities and medical needs.
