Corinne Smart is Director, Business Development & Client Relations at Markets Group, an executive forum organizer that brings together the investment management community for an unparalleled thought leadership experience and provides a platform for peer-to-peer learning, idea sharing and networking. Drawing upon over two decades of leadership experience helping companies grow brand recognition, revenue and profits in multiple industries, Corinne builds effective marketing strategies that create immediate impact, produce results and fuel profits.
 
After earning a Bachelor of Science in International Business, Marketing and Pre-Law from William Woods University, Corinne launched her career in media sales and publishing. She honed her business development and event management skills at Financial Research Associates, where she was recognized as the Top Sales Producer two years in a row, manages up to 20 events each year, and launched two new business divisions, achieving near-immediate returns.
 
Prior to joining Markets Group in August 2022, Corinne served as Director of Sponsorship Sales at IQPC Exchange and was Vice President of Business Development for Strategic Solutions Network. She has built her career upon possessing a winning blend of experience spanning brand management, relationship management, professional event planning and relationship management, and is able to leverage a unique mix of visionary, strategic, creative, technical, marketing, operations and analytical expertise.
 
Based out of Little Rock, Arkansas, Corinne credits her success to her ability to build genuine connections with people at all levels, motivating the achievement of consistently higher levels of success, while creating relationships of trust and confidence with clients.
