The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Christina Wassenhove

Christina Wassenhove just recently started her own private practice in mental health counseling with a goal to add health and wellness services that involve the use of our canine companions. A Mental Health Counselor at Wags For Wellness,  she uses Therapy Dogs to aid in Therapy Counseling. In this role, she provides counseling for Trauma, Depression, and PTSD (for First Responders and Veterans). She also educates and trains clients so they can obtain their own  Emotional support dogs.

Christina holds her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Governors State University in IL and is in the process of completing her 2nd Master’s degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration, which she is projected to receive in 2021. She is also a member of the American Counseling Association. Moving forward, she plans to continue running her company and hopes to network with likeminded professionals worldwide.

Christina also volunteers with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs by making hospital visits. In her spare time, she enjoys running marathons and reading.

International Society of Female Professionals Member, Christina Wassenhove, can be found on the Association Directory, where she is looking forward to networking with you.
