The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Casita Adams, M.A., ME.d., Ed.S., LLPC


 
Casita Adams is an Educator, Counselor, and Entrepreneur specializing in administrative educational leadership, assessment, social-emotional learning, and strategic planning. With over 27 years of experience in the field of education and over six years in counseling. Casita currently serves as Assistant Principal for a PreK-8 School in the Detroit area, where she oversees more than 400 students well as supervises and trains more than 50 staff. Known for her collaborative approach to team leadership, she is committed to ongoing educational research and development.
 
Casita Adams is also Chief Executive Officer of CMESLLC, which she created to support the educational and mental gap in her school community. She is also co-founder of CDAGAPE. Recently, she was featured in The Making of an Elite Woman Anthology Volume 1, a new best release on Amazon.
 
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Health Education from Wayne State University, Casita went on to complete master’s degrees in Rehabilitation Counseling and Community Inclusion from Wayne State University, and in Curriculum Instruction from Southern New Hampshire University. Casita also completed her Educational Specialists degree certification in Administration and Supervision K-12 from Wayne State University and currently holds her administration license for the State of Michigan with a central office endorsement. She holds a Limited License as a Professional Counselor and is currently pursuing her full license (LPC). She is also currently pursuing an EdD in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Liberty University.
 
Outside of her professional and educational endeavors, Casita is also the Director of Youth Programs for the Elite Women Organization (EWO) in the state of Michigan and serves on their Executive Board. Casita mentors young women and men within her school and church community. She works consistently within her school, church, and home community, as well as with EWO to advocate with state politicians for equal education opportunities and workforce programs. She also belongs to the Michigan Mental Health Association, American Counseling Association, and NAACP.
