Xanthi Pinkerton is Director Of Communications for Elk Grove Unified School District. She works under the direction of the superintendent to plan, organize, control and direct the internal and external communications, including crisis communications for the District. Xanthi also consults and advises on effective communication, marketing and branding practices, including contact with the media and community, and serves as the spokesperson for the District.
Xanthi holds bachelor's degrees in Theatre and History from the University of California at Irvine, and earned her teaching credentials from San Francisco State University.
