Previous responsibilities included system wide logistics and coordination of annual mock surveys and CMS/TJC/ DNV/ and State survey activities. Implemented and created quality tools for organizations. Other duties included but was not limited to training internal auditors, auditor assignments, preparation of audit tools, prep and post audit work, preventative and corrective action plans to close gaps, providing guidance during audits, conducted performance evaluations for vendors to ensure regulatory language in contracts and requirements were met before contract renewal. When planning projects, I allow time for changes to be made to ensure that the deadline is always met. I’ve been able to build strong working relationships across departments. I have cross functional department experience with knowledge of processes and systems for enrollment/billing, claims processing, as well as customer service. I have knowledge and understand of Quality Assurance that allows me to prepare, present and communicate metrics to leadership, peers, and both internal/external business partners in any format. I could serve as SME for Score’s functionality and provide training for entering audits and running reports. I currently participate on PIC team that allows for innovative thinking and revisions to processes to ensure compliance. I believe that quality auditing is a pathway to accountability. I’ve always had a passion for all things auditing, being able to provide exceptional service and accountability for my actions. I would like to incorporate my knowledge and experience in auditing into this team. I am a new QA with Anthem, but I am not a new auditor. I’m confident in my abilities to lead and audit different LOBs. I am a motivator; I have excellent time-management skills with an ability to thrive under high pressure to meet deadlines even when obstacle present themselves. The skills and knowledge I’ve acquired around auditing processes and procedures according to the standards in Healthcare make be a viable candidate for this position. I set the standards by having a work ethic that is unquestionable. If selected for this position I will prove to be a valuable asset to the team.
