I have 15 years of experience supporting good governance, human rights efforts, gender and economic stability across the continent of Africa. Currently, I serve as the First Secretary (Economic Affairs, Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Issues) to the Permanent Mission of Republic of Malawi to the United Nations, where I hold responsibility for managing issues for the UN General Assembly's Second and Third Committees. In May 2020 I was promoted to Deputy Director of Planning and Research for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Malawi, which I am set to begin following my end of tour of duty as a Diplomat at the Malawi Mission in New York.Previously, I was the Principal Foreign Service Officer for the International Cooperation department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Malawi, where I analyzed regional and international cooperation agreements alongside the Malawi government and international economic cooperation activities.
