Cynthia Dariane has over 14 years of experience in her field. As Researcher in Literature and Dance, Professional Dancer, Choreographer, and Teacher of Dance and French, she has found innovative and creative ways to integrate literature and dance. Skilled in different forms of dance, from classical ballet to jazz to latin dances or baladi, she is an evocative and expressive choreographer known for a versatile movement language and style. Passionate about dance since she was a young girl, Cynthia loves to share her enthusiasm and love of the art form with others. Expressive by nature, she found it natural to gravitate toward the written language and research as well. She holds a doctorate in French Literature from the University de Pau (specialized in the relationship between literature and dance based on the myth of the biblical dancer Salome) and a masters degree in Dance from Paris 8 University (specialized in gender studies in baladi dance). But she is also looking ahead, and hopes to continue in the dancing industry as well as research, and to continue spreading her love for what she does. She is also considering exploring the benefits of dance therapy in the discovery on the feminine identity. She credits her success to her passion and love of the craft. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other likeminded professionals, and to gaining the recognition of being a member.
