The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Anna Miller, MA


 
Anna Miller is an experienced Lecturer and Module Leader with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. With over 12 years of experience in her field, she is highly skilled in peer support, lecturing, peer mentoring, teacher training, and academic skills. She is a strategic and forward-thinking professional, and has been part of Plymouth University London campus for the past two years. In her current role, she is responsible for conducting lectures, supporting her team and she lectures level 3 and level 4 students, although her experience in the education sector spans from secondary to further education, and from TEFL to University pathways programmes.
 
With a Master of Arts in Linguistics and English Language Studies and a Cambridge CELTA qualification focused in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language, Anna is currently studying towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice from the University of Plymouth and a Higher Education Academy Fellowship.
 
Anna is based in London, where she credits much of her success to the international friendships and lasting partnerships she has been able to foster. She is a strong, independent woman who aims high and sets clear goals for herself, which she has the tenacity to work towards until they have been achieved. Outside of her work and studies, Anna is affiliated with the British Heart Foundation and enjoys reading, travelling, jogging and extreme sports in her spare time.
