The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Kayla Campbell

Kayla Campbell is an English Literature and History graduate from Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Education at York University and started her career as a secondary school teacher teaching various grades from high performing gifted students to at-risk youth. During this time, Kayla was heavily involved in charity work within the school including partnering with major organizations like World Vision and the Canadian Cancer Society. She was involved in pilot projects with the school board on gender-based learning and was the first department head within the school board under 30 years old.

After leaving the public sector, Kayla joined Whole Foods Market and developed their first region-wide onboarding program. Leading a team across Ontario, she also opened two new stores and launched a leadership development program.

Now, with nearly 6 years at Pernod Ricard, Kayla has become the first female Vice President outside of the C-Suite for Canada and leads the talent management, talent acquisition, and diversity & inclusion strategy for North America.

Kayla has an on-going passion for education and learning and drive to help others discover new opportunities and expand their thinking. She is an enthusiastic team leader who invests a lot of time in coaching her team and loves bringing a new idea from infancy to execution. She continues to challenge her own development through the articles she posts on LinkedIn via her blog, “Sparking Curiosity” and is working on her first book.

She is excited to share ideas, stories and best practices with the other female professionals within this network.
