The International Society of Female Professionals Recognizes Janet Hepburn


 
Janet Hepburn is celebrating nearly 20 years of service at Princess Margaret Hospital in The Bahamas. Highly experienced and specialized in nursing for the ear, nose and throat (ENT) sector, she serves as Nurse Manager in the ENT Specialty Clinic, where she is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating the nursing services provided to children and adults.
 
Passionate about her work, Janet collaborates with healthcare supply agencies to obtain supplies and specialized equipment for the clinic, and liaises with local and international healthcare facilities to advocate for patients who require further medical management.
 
In addition to earning a diploma in Nursing from The Bahamas School of Nursing and a diploma in Ear, Nose and Throat Nursing from Edge Hill College of Higher Education, Janet earned her Bachelor’s degree in Counseling from Atlantic College. She is proud to provide not just inpatient care in her clinic but also education for the staff of patients with disorders affecting the ear, nose and throat.
